Subject: hiding lists


we here at our center have a number of lists that we maintain. these lists are
private for the sole purpose of providing information and service to the 52
school districts that we provide service to. a couple of lists span to some
specific persons in a few centers like ours.

i am continually getting requests for subscriptions to these lists from all
over. my question is how can i hide these lists.

i have subscription by owner but it's a little annoying to get these
subscription requests.

please help. thanx in advance.
