The simplified database searching commands introduced in Listserv version
1.8c prompted many subscribers of OPERA-L to try their hand.  One
subscriber, a programmer familiar with writing manuals, has assembled a
nice and illustrative primer for novices.  I invite you all to visit his

templates for what is presumed to be the most frequently-used search
