|What I find startling is that you still assume that subscribers even read
|the "ADMINISTRIVIA" much less save it for future reference or worse use it
|when it is contained in message "banners."

What IS even more interesting to me is how folks "bond" with a list -- I
can only approximate that by saying it is tribal.  I can see it in myself
too.  We take our online communities very seriously!
