thanks, guys.  but there has to be an easier way ... here's what i'm
trying to do:  i have one subscriber who, for many reasons, wants
their posts deleted from the archives.  i want to honor this request.

on the face of it, it should be easy -- i can send a message to the
server ("search * in listname where sender is address") and get a
list of everything this person posted, by date.  but according to the
FAQ, i have to then manually delete the text in the log files.

so... why isn't there a command i can issue which would delete
everything sent to the list from that address?
