Unless you add the QUIET command before ADD, e.g.:
 
        QUIET ADD CARR-L [log in to unmask] Jane Doe
 
QUIET also prevents notification when you use the DEL command
(which is handy when you are DEleting a subscriber whose mail is
bouncing anyway).
