I should probably clarify that I'd been  sent a copy of the header of the
list in  question and thus  knew that  the question was  about "Validate=
Yes,Confirm,NoPW" and not about  "Subscription= Open,Confirm". Indeed the
latter is bypassed when you use ADD.
