No.  There is a FAQ which explains this:

To that FAQ I would add remember that "the list" is a means of easily
distributing messages to the subscribers.  "the list" does not create messages
by itself, the messages are created by the subscribers, so that the From:
address should show the address of the author of the message.  It should be
the same as regular emails, which always show the From: address of the author
of the message.

The common methods for identifying the List are to filter on the To: address
(which is almost always To: [log in to unmask] ) or to configure the
list to use SUBJECTHDR so that the Listname appears on the Subject: line.
