Dwight's correct, but there is more to it: not all Bitnet nodes,
that have Internet-equivalent FQDNs, have bothered to register
that fact in the BITEARN NODES db (that's the one that is
effectively searched by the LISTSERV cmd).
 
Other techniques exist such as interrogating the rs.internic.net
(via Telnet or mail), using the WHOIS program.
 
Also, observance of any e-mail headers generated from that site
will sometimes reveal an FQDN (though it might be erroneous e.g.,
PCCVM's RECEIVED: line headers are FUBAR).
