Here's what I ended up using for one of my lists:

<li><a href="/scripts/wa-pluto.exe?SUBED1=sar-dogs">Change
subscription, join, or leave SAR-DOGS</a><P>

I had to "hard-code" the listname and command in.  For Home-Ease
lists (and proabably other Listserv sites), the command would be:

/scripts/pluto.exe?SUBED1=listname

The wa-pluto.exe is for Apple lists.
