Hello All,

I am having a little difficulty filtering out a couple of troublesome
subscribers.

I have a list of about 5 I want to filter and they will not fit on
one line so I tried this in my header:

        * Filter = Also, <e-mail address>
        * Filter = Also, <e-mail address>
        * Filter = Also, <e-mail address>

Unfortunately, the listserv generated an error message for each line.
Not even recognizing the first filter command. I guess it could be
that I caught the listserv on a bad day. Could someone explain why
this does not work?

I tried allowing the line to wrap and that caused an even more
interesting error. Acutally, one of the e-mail addresses ended up on
a line by itself. Hence to the listserv it appeared as if I was
trying to add a subscriber to the list via the Put command. This I
know is not good. I was pleased to see the listserv generate an error
message instead of replacing my subscriber list.

I finally managed to get the filtering accomplished, squeezing it
onto one line, by shortening the the e-mail addresses and using the
wild card character. This will work for now but in the future if I
ever need to filter an additional address I will be back to square
one.

I found nothing in the manual to cover this question. Could someone
please provide the proper syntax to do multiple filters?

Thanks in advance.
