Just add:
 
* List-ID= alias
 
to  the  list header.  On  some  versions/levels,  it only  takes  effect
overnight. TELL LISTSERV CMS LSVLDELT will  make it happen right away. If
it says unknown CMS  command, it means you have a  version where it takes
effect right away.
