Hmm, I don't think there is any  way to change this right now, because as
you said  this is  not submitted in  a job. The  code that  processes the
xxx-SEARCH-REQUEST messages generates a job internally, and this is where
the output limit would have to  be specified. I'm inclined to modify this
code  to add  an output  line  limit identical  to "Sizelim="  if one  is
present (hey  Nathan, one more change  for the keyword docs  :-) ). Would
that be sufficient/adequate?
