Many thanks to everyone who helped with " Posting directly yet on review".

As instructed, in the list configuration I removed the list name from 
the Editor line, and also used these settings:
Send= Private
Default-Options=Review

Now, subscribers on "review" come to me for approval and those on 
"noreview" do not. Reading all the replies was educational!

There's a new problem but I'll will send it in a subsequent message.
