Oh, one other thing, which I forgot earlier, which is based on experience.
It may be in the documentation somewhere but I've missed it.
 
If you are using email to maintain a filelist
 
GET listname FILELIST (CTL NOLOCK PW=xxxxxxxx
 
will not work, as there is a space missing and LISTSERV assumes the
password is another, unknown, option.  Two spaces betweeen the last option
and the password are required.  That doesn't apply to standard puts, etc.
where you have no options.  For those one space is fine.
