On another List Managers' list, I read that Paul DuBois
<[log in to unmask]> has a rules file (for his majordomo list) with
code to bounce (to the list owner) any submission who's Subject field
matches any of a set of patterns indicating that it is an automatically
generated delivery or receipt confirmation. Paul's patterns are:
   .*Delivery Confirmation
   .*Receipt Confirmation
   .*RCPT
   .*ACK

(I would add to Paul's list a few more patterns for automatically generated
"Vacation Notification" and "Out of the Office" messages.)

My questions to VM LISTSERV people are:
1. Can LISTSERV for VM (in my case version 1.8a) accomplish this effect with
EXIT routines?
2. Is anyone willing to share a VM EXIT routine which does this (that is,
which rejects and sends to the list owner all postings whose Subject lines
match one of a list of patterns)?
