Without knowing your list configuration, it's hard to tell. If you
have Send=Private on the unmoderated lists, then the spam will get
automatically rejected if the From and Sender addresses are not
subscribed. If you have Send=Editor, then any messages that get past
the spam-filter will go for approval, regardless of the From: or
Sender: addresses.
The spam filter is good, but not perfect. It only catches messages
that have a very high probability of being spam. Spam is not always
obvious, in a programmatic way.
