Really dumb question (but better dumb than stupid in not asking). How does
one go about registering an Internet alias for a BITNET node? The nodes
SHSUODIN.BITNET and SHFREYA.BITNET, as well as our cluster alias
SHSU.BITNET, all can and should alias to SHSU.edu on the Internet side.
Note that I do not have privileges to get to UPDATE@BITNIC (or whatever the
address is) as I am not the BITNET rep (or whomever is so blessed with
these privs), but I would sure like to know what to pass along to the
individual here who plays with that mystical address. If I can pass along
a quick note telling him exactly what to enter, though, he will do it
(unless we're already registered, which I am unaware of; in which case,
nevermind).
Regards in wonderment, George
