Never had problem with a change before, what is wrong here?
I've altered the name to Don_Juan, other than that the first address
is precisely what is listed for the list and the second is the intended
new address. I am going to do this change another way (just delete the
old and start over) but why am I getting this "missing parameter" error?
Oh, by the way, my Pine system doesn't like long lines but I can "force"
it to use them when needed which is what I did here (always worked
before).

Missing parameter - specify a target e-mail address.

What am I missing? Oh, by the way, I did try wildcard in the original sub
address, to shorten the line, with same result. Have I totally forgotten
the syntax of a change command? Douglas
