I got around all of that tedious discussion, etc. by not storing archives in
the first place.

What I'd really like to see implemented on Listserv's end is an expiration
on archives.  I would not mind keeping around only say the last n months of
discussion.  Then anyone who bitches about removing stuff can just be told,
hey it's gone soon anyway.

OTOH, I have private lists, so wayback archives aren't an issue anyway. You
have to be subscribed to look at them.
