One of the things I put in my Mission/Policy statement for the list was a blurb
to not send virus warnings with an explanation that all users run a potential
risk of acquiring a virus if they download and execute a program from any
source, be it recieved via email, ftp or hyperlink.

It helps a little in the general education area.
