add the word REVIEW to the Default-Options= in your List Header, and make
sure Editor= [log in to unmask] This affect all new subscribers only. All of
their posts will then automatically be sent to you for approval before
they go to the list. When you are satisfied they are behaving properly,
you SET them to NOREVIEW, and their posts will go directly to the list.

It is possible for some bad person to behave nicely through your screening
process, but most haven't the patience for this, so you'll keep them out.
