I am new to this list, and was prompted to join by the
recent spamming. I run a tiny little Mailserv (I do my
own digests manually), and have no idea how Goldberg
found the list address ([log in to unmask]) for this
non-Listserv show.
Being a Mailserv, it is not listed anywhere that I can
think of except in the archived posts on New-list and a few
genre literature lists.
Goldberg must have done his homework, and was determined
to join those two lawyers in infamy. I certainly felt
I was seeing something historic when the posts came in
all day long, but I thought I was immune in my semi-
anonymity until ...
The worst part was when listmembers fired back at their list
a snotty reply, clueless that the poster was not a fellow
listmember and including the whole original ad in the
reply to boot.
I think the TQM-L post showed Goldberg had divvied up the
Global list into distribution lists. I remember he had
got at least as far as UDD-L.
