Though I've reported this error (spanning a couple of days for various userids)

  read error from mc4.law5.hotmail.com

I've not gotton a response (no surprize there).

Any clues as to what's going on @ HOTMAIL these days that causing this
random bounces (I presume it has nothing to do with the fibre cut to China).
