In this instance the problem was taken care of by the mail system, I
switched things around so the errors went to another address. Then, when
the old account was reactivated, all the old stuff poured in, hadn't
exceeded the 4 day delivery attempt limit (close, though).

So my question still remains. What would happen if you have
Errors-to:= A   and Owner= B ?
Errors-to:=A   and Owner= A ?

if the A address continues undeliverable past the delivery attempt
cutoff? Go back to owner-listname as an error which is sent to the
same sour address? Try to send it to another Owner address (if there
is one)? Send it to the host's list maintainer? Other?

Just curious.
