You send a  1-line file with a  PUT command, or use the  DELETE option of
LSVPUT EXEC.

It depends  on what you call  access problems. The definition  of the PRV
and OWN access codes is subscribers (resp owners) of the list by the same
name as the filelist. You can define  your own access codes pointing to a
list by  another name, of  course, but you cannot  call them PRV  or OWN.
Also, nested  filelists are not  really sub-directories, as you  can have
only one filelist with a given name.
