Not having seen the original messages, I can't tell whether they fell in
the above category or not.  I was trying to cover all the possibilities.
I certainly don't condone chronic non-replying (especially when it
happens to me!), but there's still the old rule: "If you can't say
something nice, don't say anything at all."
