It is true that when you include a list that has posting restrictions
with a bunch of other recipients, and those recipients reply-all, that it
is possible that:
1) orginal recipient's email system will bounce to an incorrect address
including the poster, RFC821 mail from, godknowswhere
2) REPLY-all will attempt to post to restricted list and is delivered to
editor/moderator
Thus, on a list that I co-operate, we tell folks NOT to CC: the list when
posting to others off-list. This saves us alot of headaches dealing with
non-subscribers.
