EXPLODE wasn't changed to look up  the :internet tag. It isn't 100% clear
how it should behave.  If the list is DISTRIBUTEd, as long  as there is a
seizable  number of  recipients (which  is  usually the  case for  peered
lists) or not they are optimally located is only marginally important, as
long as it's on  the right side of the ocean.  But since DISTRIBUTE makes
use of :internet, EXPLODE should be modified to do so.
 
Now when the list is not  DISTRIBUTEd, which is when EXPLODE becomes most
important,  the :internet  tag is  not used:  LISTSERV just  delivers the
message  to the  MAILER, which  uses (a  possibly modified)  DOMAIN NAMES
rather than  BITEARN NODES  to find  out how to  route it,  and therefore
EXPLODE is doing what it ought to in this respect.
