David,
Not quite sure why you've sent your request here ([log in to unmask])
but let's see what I can do to help ...
>Error in mm-init -- no room in table for alias writech-search-research -- line # 12059 in file PMDF_ALIAS_FILE
>%PAS-F-HALT procedure called
>%TRACE-F-TRACEBACK, symbolic stack dump follows
>Image Name Module Name Routine Name Line Number Real PC abs PC
> 0 000356AC 000876AC
>PAS$RTL CNBUILD CNBUILD 13989 00005968 00035968
>CNBUILD 0 8D498170 8D498170
That's a HUGE alias file you've got there. The defaults used by PMDF
CNBUILD, even with /MAXIMUM, were not intended for a file with that many
entries.
What are the entries in your alias file -- individual users, or mailing
lists? If they are predomninantly individual users, you should use another
method to set them up. The usual way is with the PMDF Alias Database, an
RMS indexed file which can be updated on-the-fly without having to restart
every PMDF process when you make a change to it.
If they are mailing lists it does get a bit trickier, but I believe these
too can be moved out of the alias file.
Regards,
Jeremy Begg
