There was a  similar problem with an X-DEL originating  at AWIIMC11. Obviously
the DIST2  job was appended  to itself somewhere -  well, you can  imagine the
n-plication of this request.
I didn't pay attention to the fact  that this error was accompanied by "a loop
has been detected  in your Job" messages  which get sent to  the postmaster of
the originating server. Dunno where the  user sent the request to. The nearest
server is at RICEVM1.
The job  is never re-sent  to the originating server  and probably not  to all
LISTSERVs if the appending doesn't take place before any fanning is done.
