I believe that all you have to do is to move all the old log files onto
the same disk where the new ones are and then erase the two files
<listname> DBINDEX and <listname> DBNAMES.  Do this with LISTSERV
shutdown.  Then start up LISTSERV again and give the LDBASE command
SELECT * IN <listname>
which will cause the two files you deleted to be rebuilt correctly.
