It was indeed a bad example to use to make a point. The point was that
sometimes lists are not used for voluntary discussions where the List
Owner should have total access to the subscribership. Currently, we get
around it with a Super List owned by a faulty member who is editor, with
students subscribed to a sub-list that said faculty member does not own
and use REVIEW= Owner. A programmed mail server that feeds the sub-list
owns the sub-list "quietly". This is probably more complicated than it
has to be, but it works with our privacy policies. Well, one day a lady
will walk into the Lsoft offices and shout, "Who wants to go for a beer?".
That would be me.
