Is that error consistent? Try moving the file ATHLETICS-L LOG0702 out  
of LISTSERV's view and the .IND* files for that list, then restart  
LISTSERV.

Indexing that ATHLETICS-L LOG0702 file might require more RAM than  
your server's memory has or it might be corrupt.
