        So what's the MAILMAXL default value for 1.8d on NT4/x86? The
documentation suggests leaving this value unset (at default), and
specifies that it's platform dependent, but doesn't give any of the
actual (platform-dependent) defaults. This leaves me not knowing what
value is in use on my system....
