?character set problem? A non-display character got in? The ? often shows up when the "character" cannot be displayed.
I see this every now and then. Since I am on the Linux server for admin, I usually just send a message to listserv (and use the batch language)
// job
quiet delh <listname> [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>*
quiet add <listname> [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> name_1 name_2
// eoj
The second command is necessary because the wildcard used in the first got rid of both addresses.
Using Windows, there may be (are) some mail client specifics that I avoid by being on Linux.
Right now I am trying to track down addresses like
[log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>
Â@UGA.EDU<mailto:Â@UGA.EDU>
Good luck.

Subject: deleting subscriber
Greetings all. I have a list that has 23 subscribers, two of which are [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> and [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>?. These are the same person but with a special character, either a small square box or a question mark in a diamond at the end of one, depending on how you display it. . This particular one will not delete and continues to send a bounce message to the owner. Any idea on how to get rid of this subscriber? Thanks.
