1. At the University of Notre Dame, enterprise-wide email services, including
the mailing list service, are managed by the Messaging Services Team in the
Core Services Group in the Operations and Engineering Division of the Office
of Information Technologies.

2. It works well, primarily because both of the individuals assigned to the
Messaging Services team have several years of experience managing email and
LISTSERV services.

3. At its core, LISTSERV is and always has been an email-based service.
Consequently, it makes sense to have it managed by the person or group that
manages the email service.
