In general, "I CMSL" cannot be substituded for "I CMS". For us, CMSL does not
exist. Instead of a CMS/CMSL pair, we have a CMSS/CMS pair. In other words,
our CMS is your CMSL. We only keep around CMSS as a vestage of yester year.
(In case someone ever actually needs to repeat that old mistake.)
