   I am at somewhat of a loss to understand this;  LISTSERV works just
fine with the Internet (and CSNET, JANET, UUCP, etc).  I own several
lists, some of which have Internet subscribers.  Others have LISTSERV's
which run from machines on *only* the Internet.
 
   Perhaps what you are looking for is a LISTSERV type program that
will run on something other than VM.  If that is your endeavor, I
wish you good luck.
