Since the new 'distribute' command is relaying files in 'unsolicited'
fashion, can we establish some common and reasonable limitations over
what resources we should provide for this task?  I haven't been digging
into the facility to any great length yet, but I recall early reports of
running out of VM storage and space overflow on the staging disk.  Is
there a common (and reasonable) value for K-byte size of the VM machine
and the staging disk?
