All mailing list managers are not created equal ;-)

Not only will you have to train all of your computer centre users, but also all of your
non-instutional customers of LISTSERV lists.

Everyone of those subscribers already know how to use LISTSERV(R).  You (and your institution) have
invested alot of time. Why throw that away?

IIRC, a senior-director type wanted the University to migrate to ListProc.  Fortunately that never
came to pass.

If you were going to change, why not to a third-party host and software like Yahoo or Google which are
more global denomiators?

Just my 2  bits.
