We have a number of lists which are updated by automated jobs. In some cases,
a cron job on the LISTSERV server launches a script that processes an input
file and submits a job. In those cases, the script runs under a username that
is forwarded to the LISTSERV postmaster mailbox, so the job output is seen by
a human. In one case, a process running on another server selects email
addresses from a database and submits a bulk add job. The job output is
returned to the database maintainer.
