But since this discussion does come up pretty frequently, perhaps
LSoft could come up with some re-incarnated variation on the "Files="
keyword that allows subscribers of lists with "Files=Yes" to
deliberately send a uh, variation of a posting (1), that bypasses
the archives and the digest and the line-limits.
(1) I have no idea. Maybe by presenting it as a "job" to Listserv
or under a Sacred subject "Topic". Since everything done these
days has to be implemented in the context of spammers and script
kiddies I would expect a job to require the users password, or
a sacred topic to demand confirmation independent of the usual
requirements of the list.
