 Greg.
Thanks for responding.  It's very important,, to me anyways,, to know how our pending listserv upgrade will handle photos, and if they will appear in the archives as well.
I'm trying to grasp what you're saying,, but some of it slipspast my inexperience..  ;-)    Are you saying that it's a browsersetting that I have to initiate to have photos appear in thearchives?  hmm,,  So far,, and I've visited the interface and no
photos appeared in the archives here attached to my "test" message.  So I was assuming that it's just not of feature I can
hope for, and since nobody else responded..  I like how in Google Groups you can embed a photo in the middle of a message as a way to highlight and emphasize a point,, or just
for the sake of sharing something easily, and then have it
appear in the archives to those who only read via the archives.
I have those kind of subscribers too.

I presume you have standard browser software running WA?  If you have the Notebook keyword set to create archives, you should find it there (from the list's "home page" or index.) Once you bring up the archived message, if the image is attached, click the link shown in the header. E.g., Myimage.jpg or Amovie.mov.  In-line images, including HTML, gifs for banners, newsletter templates should be evident in the message viewer without having to click an attachment link.

I see that the photo I sent goes out to
other subscribers, but I didn't see the
photo displayed on the web interface.
Can that be changed, or is that just how
it works with photos?
