Apparently some webmail providers (*cough*google*cough*) do things like
show a list posting to small percentage of recipients, examine their
response (spam?), decide whether to show it to some more etc.
Eventually, everyone sees it.  We've seen 2-3 day delays on stuff
appearing in user inboxes that gmail accepted immediately.

Dunno if that's relevant here.
