I need help to explain why netcom.com is truncating the listserv email
address. Also, what can I do about it? Who do I need to contact?

TIA,

Kathryn Smith

I received the below message from a subscriber on my list:

I seem to be unable to reply to or send any messages to exotic-l. When I do,
I get a returned message saying unable to locate such address & then it
lists the address as [log in to unmask] I know I write it with the
u on the end of the address, but somehow it doesn't work.... is it possible
that my service provider doesn't recognize that long an address? Do you
have any suggestions? Or should I just be content with lurking & reading?

I then asked her to send me a copy of the error message, which reads:
