From Ratnakar Anant Verma, HCL-Consulting ,(INDIA).
Mailer: Elm [revision: 70.85.2.1]
Hi Friends,
I am a novice in the field of Internet and E-mail.
I have a problem which is as follows :
One of my dear friend has sent me a mail whose return
path comes as:
[log in to unmask]
But when I reply back to him, my mail always bounces back.
I contacted him on phone, he adviced me to use
[log in to unmask]
Now my mails reach there without any problem.
The points which I could never understand are:
1. What this "%" means ?
2. If I have to use "finger" command for him, how should I use ?
3. Why his correct mail address never comes in his mail ?
* It comes as [log in to unmask]
* But the real is [log in to unmask]
If you can give me a satisfactory answer to all above,
it will be a great help for me.
