Is it reasonable to think about a specific "X-special:" kind of field
that LISTSERVs would insert and delete among themselves while still
obeying RFC 822 conventions? This field could contain the information
Phil alluded to, such as, "This guy doesn't want mail about stats."
I know Eric flinches when we propose more things for LISTSERV to do; I
don't mean to make you do that, Eric. But the idea may be worth
consideration, given the apparent mood about these messages.
