The Revised LISTSERV Distribution List <LSTSRV-L@EB0UB011> |
I'd like to be able to kill off just DISTRIBUTE processing. I can't do an
'offline' and kill mail because we have a few internal mailing lists that
DO have to go out, regardless of load. Also, I can HOLD those lists that are
non-essential during the day. What I need is to be able to run the needed
mail lists during the day, and be safe that no joker drops a big distrib
job in on me.
I am not terribly concerned about spool space, as we have ACRES of that.
We dropped in 300,000 lines of printout and it only rose 2%. :-) (Yes, I know,
there IS fragmentation there.. but there is enough spool space that I'm not
worried about anything that can sneak in on a 9.6KB link. :-)
