When I want to stop listserv, I use 'lcmd stop' and this works fine for me
(I am logged in as user 'listserv'). But we have a special situation here.
I am not the system administrator and the system administrator needs
another (better?) method to stop listserv when he wants to restart the
machines. This method should not cause any additional problems.

Any ideas?

Siegfried
