Hi all,

We're trying to install a Unix listserver on our Data General Aviion
(SVR4), and we've run into some problems. I was wondering if anyone could
help.

The software package in question is listserver v6.0, and was ftp'd from
cs.bu.edu. We successfully setup the files, which involved only a very
slight modification to the Makefile (-lsocket was dropped from the list of
files to link). However, the start file doesn't work. It executes, but
refuses to spawn the serverd routine. We're pretty much stuck at this
point, and were wondering if anyone out there has had similar experiences.

Any sort of help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
